The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe within the project: “Rural development through integrated forest and water resources management in Southeast Europe: Rural perspectives: qualification, reintegration and (self) employment” will support the organization of the Event 19th “Lim Regatta” which will be organized by Tourist Organization of Visegrad and which will be held in the period from 02.06.2018 till 03.06.2018 in Visegrad, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina
. This aim of the event is promotion of traditional handicrafts and food of the region. The exhibition will gather women’s associations, agriculture producers, old crafts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro. It is Organized by the Tourist Organization of the Visegrad Municipality and the
exhibition which will be held at the UNESCO protected Bridge over Drina will attracts all those who are interested in preserving traditional crafts, as well as promotion of the masterful artworks and their rich offer of products.
The Drina River forms the backbone of this region, and the project includes a promotional boat field trip, which will bring together the participants of the event and point out the tourist significance and the need for ecological protection of the Drina River.
